That is a really cool test, thanks for the link! I'm left-handed which makes me right brain dominant, so it makes sense that I saw the image turning clockwise.
The even weirder thing is that for me, logic was one of my easiest classes in college, and I was a biology major/french minor (science and language which are supposed to be "left-brain", right?)
This could make sense if I were "bi" (I can do some things w/right hand: throw, computer mouse, cut w/scissors), but I really could only see the clockwise movement of the dancer. Weird.
I just found this link that allows you to see it rotating both ways. I guess it's really just an optical illusion.

I'm a righty and initially couldn't fathom any other interpretation of the spinning. It was so clearly clockwise. Only with great effort, a little discussion with self, and some head motion could I envision the opposite direction. As soon as I look away it changes direction back to clockwise. Very interesting.
The writers of the Freakonomics blog wrote about this today and are taking a poll asking about college majors.
