It's all a bit unsavory to me -- not the fact that Palin's daughter is pregnant, that's a private affair. It's the attention brought to it. Although I guess if the GOP wasn't so obsessed with defining what your family values should be it might not be such big news. Palin's interference in trying to get her brother-in-law fired concerns me more. Actually (to be a bit catty), the more you learn about Palin, the more you think she should be headlining Jerry Springer instead of Fox News.
Okay, that was a cheap shot. But I do seriously think the question should not be about her family. It should be whether or not Palin could set Senator McCain straight the next time he mixes up Shites and Sunnis, like Joe Lieberman could. Somehow I doubt it.

my thoughts exactly... the daughter (although ironic considering Palin's evangelical background feels that abstinence is the ONLY safe sex before marriage) is a private affair... but the alleged firing of someone who did not fire another someone who broke off an engagement with her sister - did I get that right - is quite disturbing. This is a moral person?
For someone who is pro - life, she's taught her daughter at least 3 major pro choice decisions... chose to be sexually active before marriage, chose to have unprotected sex, and chose to keep the child... more troubling is the daughter's fiancee nee F Buddy's old face book page that says he doesnt want kids.. WTF! And today we learn Palin was a member of the Alaska Independence Party and spoke to them this year supporting their secessionist's views? That's sooooooo 1850's... my fav are the shots comparing her to Anastasia Beaverhausen... Hope you're enjoying the "scaled down" "Country First" convention - does this mean they're courting the trailer trash vote?? You can't make this stuff up even if you tried!
