Is it hubris or stupidity? Or all of the above?

The really funny thing about today was that I was listening to the tape of that comment on NPR this morning even as the feds were knocking on his door with a warrant for his arrest.
Can't say as I much care for associating him with blowjobs, though. Unlike our soon-to-be-ex-governor, blowjobs are good for something.
Oh, and in his case, it was hubris and stupidity in roughly equal proportions, mixed with a healthy dollop of greed. And an ego that may be the only thing known to science larger than the macro-cosmic universe.
My mother, who lives in IL, calls him that. I've told her, "mom, I really don't need to hear my sainted mother using the words "blow job." Ever. Still, the name stuck.
I think I'd die of shock if my mom ever used the expression "blowjob."
