What's with the geometrical shapes on clothes in lieu of written laundry instructions? I understand the purpose -- provide symbols so that anyone regardless of what language they speak can understand them...but I'd have an easier time deciphering French than the Euclidian plethora of shapes and dots and lines populating my clothes labels. Did I miss a class somewhere? Did a memo go out? Or is this another area where my gay genes are deficient, like my inability to decorate, dress fashionably or appreciate Celine Dion?
This Web site is helpful but still didn't explain what the circle with the P in the middle means.
