"Gay American" to become Gay Priest?

It's true, life is stranger than fiction. Former NJ Gov. Jim "Gay American" McGreevey has entered the Episcopalian seminary.

Let's see. Ted Haggard is a preacher and he gets caught having gay sex and he gets kicked out. Jim McGreevey isn't a preacher and he gets caught having gay sex and he becomes one. Is there any logic to this world?

Strange indeed. I know it is a debatable issue whether McGreevey should be lauded or criticized for the entire fiasco a few years back, but I fell into the camp of admiring him for his 'bravery'. Now, I don't follow McGreevey too much, but when I saw him on Larry King a few months ago with his 'life partner', and now this.......the luster has somehow worn off and I can't exactly put it into words why.

I don't see anything brave about what happened -- he got caught and had to come out or let others come out for him. If a married straight politician put his unqualified mistress on the state payroll, would you laud him or criticize him?
