The Wages of Rove's Culture War

Zac comments on Rove's legacy, the culture war that divides and pits extremists against one another, leaving others in the crosshairs:

But it's not the lives of those waging the war that are sacrificed for the greater good. That's the problem with this fight. The casualties of this American war are the dignities of the everyday people who are trying to live their lives as they see best.
