A Little Crush
Crushes are irrational things (I keep telling myself) as I admit I have a little thing going for Ryan Seacrest, especially when he's sporting a little 5 0'clock shadow. He and I would probably have nothing to talk about over dinner -- but, well you know (and yes, the LTR knows of my affliction).

He's the guy I hate to love. Part of me wishes he'd just disappear forever, but another part longs to find myself in a situation with him best saved for an adult video or intense therapy.

I cannot concur -- He's an egomaniac and isn't he shorter than Mary Lou Retton? It's on the outside AND inside....I'm not so shallow afterall.
I think Christopher puts it best: "the guy I love to hate."
On one level he represents all that is cheap about American pop culture.
On another level, he's still appealing.

Mary Lou is short...I mean really short and I couldn't think of another famous short person. I heard Ryan wears heels to make himself look taller.
Christopher said Ryan is the guy "he hates to love".....I think I fall into your (mis)quote of he's "the guy I love to hate", although I don't spend any time consciously thinking about it.
