Thank you for the compliment. No, I'm not a professional photographer. I wouldn't even know "nice composition" if it walked up and slapped me. However, it sounds cool, so forgive me for borrowing it yesterday when, I told my son after we finished finger painting, "nice composition!"
I would think of composition as the overall balance in your picture. Actually most of the pics you've been posting recently are composed well. I am not an expert but I've been told that I'm pretty good at proportion and balance (in school and in my career).
BTW, I knew you weren't a professional photographer (ouch!) :), but you're pretty good and I wanted to kiss ass :-p
