Over the Hill

Does there come a point where time stops speeding up as you get older? Does it happen before you're too old to enjoy the time you have?

Just wondering. I came across some photos of the LTR and I from just 10 years ago and my god we were so young and it just seems like a different era...but in my memory it was just yesterday and the days rushed forward from then to now.

For goodness sakes, you're not old! Like you've pointed out in the past: you're in better shape now than you have been in your whole life. You're not old, and you're no where near "too old."

You're just right.

Thank you, but you miss my point. I'm not whining about feeling or looking old (though I admit I do fret about that at times). Rather, I'm saying I blinked, and 10 years went by. Time is going by too fast.

Sorry to say this, but I think there is not a point, as you get older, when time stops speeding up....and I wish it were different. A friend of mine put it in perspective for me -- when you're young, a year is a far greater percentage of your life than it is as you age, so a year goes by and it feels like you've just blinked.

I remember my calculus teacher in high school making that observation too. Though I forget why we were even talking about such things...
