No, not a porn soundtrack, it's the sound of street construction in front of my house and the home renovation on my third floor (above my home office) that started this week.Here's a few before and after shots. It's gonna be so cool when it's done -- but the noise and the mess now...oy!

Wow. Working from home with that noise is not fun at all! I've been there, and feel your pain.
Coincidentally, there's an article in the NYT today about building construction and noise insulation. :0
Thanks for posting these pix. I will need something to compare the after shots to, esp. since the third floor of your house has always been off-limits. Looking forward to Home Depot shopping with you and Dave later and helping to select some of the "after" elements!
